Inside Art is a mobile studio & healing arts program founded and taught by local artist and Reiki Practitioner, Tessa D’Agostino. The Inside Art program offers healing Reiki treatments (see side column for more info) as well as classes in drawing, painting, sculpture, mixed media,  and more. D’Agostino specializes in therapeutic and expressive arts and teaches individuals to create from within while learning a variety of art skills.

Inside Art is both a studio arts and therapeutic/expressive arts program created in 2007  to benefit individuals interested in the arts as well as self growth.  Inside Art is a studio arts program where the creative process and self-reflection fit hand in hand. Tessa D’Agostino, Inside Art’s founder, says, “…The creative process naturally evokes a meditative state where we can unwind, relax, and slow our thoughts. It allows us to retreat within to express our unique self  while creating something beautiful to share with the world around us…”

In addition to teaching a variety of art classes, D’Agostino now offers healing Reiki treatments under the “Inside Art” name.  Reiki, which translates to,  universal life force energy,  is an ancient Japanese healing practice which uses energy teachings and treatments to aid in an individual’s self healing and relaxation. The mission of Inside Art is to teach individuals the benefits of self-healing through studio and healing arts while integrating positive thinking, self-reflection, artist skills and life skills.  This process is further explained through various articles of writing located in the side bar of this website.
